If you are looking for a nice hotel, close to amenities at a reasonable price, you owe it to yourself to check out the Holiday Inn Westbank. We stayed for 5 nights including the May long weekend and it was clean, quiet and close to restaurants. In the lobby is a Fog & Suds, and there is a Boston Pizza in the same parking lot, while a host of other restaurants are just a short drive away. There is an indoor-outdoor salt-water pool and separate hot tub on the second level. We stayed in the standard room with one king sized bed and a couch (which also pulls out to a bed) for $139/night, a very reasonable price for the overall quality of the hotel.

Would we stay there again? We did, just a few weeks later!

This two and one half star hotel has been noted by independent reviewers for its cleanliness and polite staff, the latter of which is multilingual. The Holiday Inn Express offers value for money. They have Air Miles, Aeroplan and/or Priority Club points. The lobby of this hotel is comfortable looking and spacious with a cozy sitting area. All the public areas of the hotel are air conditioned. There is free high speed wifi and internet access in this hotel. Amenities also include free parking, same day dry cleaning, weekday newspapers, free local calls, and fax and copy service.

For recreation there is an indoor heated pool and a Jacuzzi. When in season, the sundeck is also available. The fitness room is well stocked with good exercise equipment, independent reviewers say. The hotel also has its own restaurant on site, and a deluxe continental buffet breakfast is served that is complimentary with your stay.

The location of this hotel is quite ideal in that if you don’t have a car and would like other eating options, there is an East Side Mario’s and other restaurants just a short walk away. For other needs, Walmart and other stores are just across the street.

This hotel is also just 10 minutes away from either the airport or downtown Kelowna, and close to Okanagan Lake. For a more enjoyable experience, the Holiday Inn Express also offers tour packages to nearby, award-winning golf courses, ski resorts, and area tours of wineries and vineyards.

Guest Rooms:

This four floor hotel has two suites which have separate sleeping room and living room areas. The regular rooms are spacious and comfortable, and independent reviews have lauded its helpful staff and overall cleanliness. However, guests are advised to avoid any rooms near the elevator. Guest rooms may have a queen bed and twin bed. Facilities in all rooms include an in-room coffee maker, hair dryer, 25″ color T.V. , voice mail, dataport, clock radio, iron/ironing board, air conditioning, microwaves and refrigerators.

Function Rooms:

The Holiday Inn Express has a 600 square foot meeting room which can accommodate a maximum of 45 persons. Secretarial services are available and the hotel also has a business center.
